The atmosphere was electric aboard the Battleship Funtastic, led by the ever-dynamic Captain Funtastic. The event unfolded through five thrilling segments, each designed to spotlight participants’ quick thinking, storytelling flair, reading confidence, and spelling skills—all set against an exciting space-themed adventure.
SEGMENT 1 – “I am JAM”
Captain Funtastic was in search of a team of sharp and confident troopers. Their mission was to conquer the “Just A Minute” round, where participants had to respond to a rapid-fire series of personal questions with honesty and confidence, all within a strict 60-second time limit. This high-energy challenge revealed the true character of each contestant as they tackled the quick-fire queries!
SEGMENT 2 – Read Aloud
During the event, we emphasized that space exploration extended beyond rockets, highlighting the importance of effective communication and clarity. Participants faced the challenge of reading a mysterious cosmic message aloud, demonstrating their speed and accuracy. It was an exciting showcase of skill and teamwork!
SEGMENT 3 – Code Decode
Code Decode brought a surge of excitement as a danger alert flashed across the screens. Participants were challenged to decipher cryptic enemy transmissions, racing against time to unscramble the hidden message. The energy in the room soared as each contestant showcased sharp focus and impressive decoding skills.
SEGMENT 4 – Bee Buzz
In Segment 4, the adventure took an exciting turn as the Battleship Funtastic crash-landed on Planet Bee. To earn their way back into space, participants faced the Queen Bee’s ultimate challenge—a high-stakes Spelling Showdown. The crowd watched eagerly as contestants stepped up with confidence, showcasing their spelling mastery in hopes of winning the Queen’s approval.
SEGMENT 5 – Storyboard Time
Storyboard Time delivered a gripping finale as the enemy closed in at lightning speed. With Captain Funtastic’s secret battle plan lost, participants were called upon to craft powerful and inspiring stories to turn the tide. Each storyteller stepped up, hoping their narrative would rally the crew and secure a triumphant victory.
The session concluded with praise from Captain Funtastic and acknowledgment of each child’s efforts. Participants were encouraged to give themselves virtual claps and hearts. The event emphasized confidence, collaboration, and communication skills in a fun and memorable way.

Funtastic season five event brought engaging activities, enthusiastic staff, and well-organized logistics., children being proud of their creations and these type of events’ ability to create lasting memories through fun, educational experiences. Constructive focus on specific areas for improvement, such as the length of activities and clarity of instructions. My daughter had an amazing time at the Funtastic Five event, especially during the Spelling Bee segment! It was such a well-organized and enriching experience. The event provided a wonderful platform where children could express themselves confidently and creatively. I loved how the storytelling activities encouraged kids to bring their ideas to life using their wildest imagination.
Thankyou so much to give my son that space in which he thrives and fluorish and gaining confidence.He enjoyed every bit of it.
Great session, kids had a wonderful opportunity to do lots of different things and showcase their abilities! Captain Funtastic did a brilliant job running things smoothly and being his usual entertaining self!
