Funtastic Five Season 6 roared to life with an unforgettable Prehistoric Quest, transporting young explorers straight into the heart of the Jurassic World. Led by the ever-energetic Captain Funtastic, the live interactive event blended learning, imagination, and adventure, proving once again that education is most powerful when it’s fun.

A Journey Back to the Age of Dinosaurs

The session began with Captain Funtastic welcoming all the participants and assigning each child a unique code name that symbolized their strengths and roles in the mission. These identities fostered a spirit of teamwork, confidence, and creativity throughout the adventure.

A special highlight of the event was the presence of Ms. Farah Ubad, CEO of Affreej eLearning, who joined the session to support and celebrate the mission of providing meaningful and engaging education. She shared her excitement about the program and praised the innovative approach to learning.

Exploring the Mesozoic Era

Through an engaging time-travel story, Captain Funtastic guided participants through the Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous periods, introducing iconic dinosaurs such as Coelophysis, Brachiosaurus, Stegosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus rex. Children actively participated by answering questions, sharing ideas, and imagining what life alongside dinosaurs might have been like.

Missions, Challenges, and Learning Through Play

The Prehistoric Quest was packed with interactive missions designed to strengthen literacy, critical thinking, and collaboration:

• Spelling Bee Challenge (B-Buzz Zone):
  Participants unlocked gates by spelling key explorer words like guide, scanner, helmet, and enclosure, practicing focus and confidence under friendly pressure.
• Voices of the Jurassic – Reading Quest:
  Explorers read story cards describing scenes from Jurassic Park, learning to read clearly, slowly, and expressively using their “explorer voices.”
• Round Robin Story Quest:
  In this collaborative storytelling mission, each participant added a sentence to a shared adventure story, demonstrating creativity, listening skills, and teamwork.
• Ancient Dinosaur Language Decoding:
  The final challenge tested logic and problem-solving as participants decoded mysterious dinosaur symbols to unlock the park gates.
