Scratchathon Season 2

Scratchathon brought together participants aged 7 to 12 for a fast-paced, project-based challenge. Each participant was given 60 minutes to create an original interactive project using the Scratch online editor. The focus of the competition was not just coding, but also creativity, storytelling, and how clearly ideas were brought to life through visuals and interaction.

Projects were reviewed by the judging panel using a well-defined set of criteria, including creativity and originality, functionality, completeness, presentation and design, and overall code organization. Special attention was also given to how polished the projects felt and how thoughtfully Scratch blocks were used to solve problems.

After careful evaluation, the winner was announced. The winner was awarded an Affreej gift voucher and certificate in recognition of the outstanding work, while all participants received certificates to acknowledge their effort and participation.

Scratchathon Season 2 was marked by high energy, strong engagement, and impressive creativity from the participants. The event successfully provided a supportive environment for young learners to experiment, build confidence, and develop foundational programming skills. With its growing impact, Scratchathon continues to stand out as an important initiative for nurturing future creators and problem-solvers.
